We love when our practice members tell us about their gardens!

Gardening is fun because you get to grow your own food jam-packed with a variety of health and wellness benefits for you and your family.

In fact, research has shown that gardening or digging in the dirt can improve and increase your microbiome, life satisfaction, quality  of life, and sense of community. It  is no suprise that gardening has been linked to  reduced depression, anxiety, and body mass index as well.

Digging in the dirt stirs up microbes in the soil and when we inhale them, these microbes stimulate serotonin production giving us a major mood boost.

Nature is so cool, right? We were made to be in connection with creation and scientific research shows this over and over again! Next time you’re needing a pick-me-up, get outside and get your hands dirty!
